The Chantry Centre which was first opened in 1970 and underwent a major refurbishment in 1990 has over 60 shops and stores on one convenient level. Major stores include Argos, Boots, Tesco and Waitrose with a host of other nationally known stores and smaller independent specialists.
The Chantry Centre has multi-storey parking for 650 vehicles with the Bus Station conveniently located right next door to the Centre. Our Supermarkets are open late to 8pm on Thursdays and 9pm on Fridays and we have three catering outlets.
Boswells (above), in The Chantry Centre has a brand new look in a brand new location!
The popular mall based cafe has been totally refurbished, is temperature controlled, has fifty seat restaurant as well as a comfortable seating area for over 70 people outside in the mall.
As well moving to the area previously occupied by Roseby's, Boswells has added to their menu with chargrilled chicken and burgers while still offering their extensive range of freshly made toasted sandwiches and paninis, jacket potatoes, baguettes, sandwiches, soup, salads, pasties,
sweet treats and cakes. The only thing that has not changed is their dedicated team.
