EXPLORER DISCOVERS THE CHANTRY CENTRE

Organised as a grand finale to the month long Big British Break programme of free family fun, which took place throughout April, a larger than life explorer visited the Chantry Centre on Bank Holiday Monday, 2 May!

Dora the Explorer - from the American animated television series created by Chris Gifford, Valerie Walsh and Eric Weiner – visited the Centre and her young fans were able to meet their heroine, have their photo taken with her and receive a branded Dora the Explorer gift.

The Rainbow costumed character drew a lot of young families to the Centre who were also able to ‘make and take’ windmills at special workshops with the Bee Team of craft workers.
