BIG KIDS’ VISIT CHANTRY CENTRE GROTTO

The Chantry Centreproved that you are never to old to visit Santa as they welcomed some ‘big kids’ to visit their Christmas Grotto on Saturday.

The VIP OAPs were given exclusive access to Santa and were even given a deliciously early Christmas present.

In true traditional style, Santa asked his special visitors what they would like for Christmas and although, with his usual discretion, he did not divulge, details of the wish lists, it is anticipated that hip replacement and hearing aids were amongst the main “must haves” this year.

"The Chantry Centre team worked very hard getting the Grotto ready and in my view, this is our best ever Grotto, says Steve Cotney, Centre Manager, Chantry Centre. "With many Santa visits under their belts – as children, parents and even as grand parents – our special visitors on Saturday were probably some of the most experienced people around to road test our Grotto."

To ensure that these special grotto visitors did not leave empty handed, Santa drafted in the help of Thorntons, the specialist chocolatier at The Chantry Centre, to supply some suitably sumptuous gifts.

And to put the icing on the cake, Santa’s Senior Visitors were also treated to seasonal refreshments at Boswells.
