Wednesday 28 July 11am to 3pm Make a Bee House Children can make a ‘bee house’ out of bamboo to hang in the garden or window sill - this is to encourage the many species of solitary bee to a safe refuge. • The ‘bee house’ is decorated to look like a big bumble bee. • An activity sheet is given out to the children with bee themed games. It will also have a section that will teach children what plants to grow to encourage the bee population. The children’s entertainments are not supervised playschemes and parents are requested to stay with their children and join in the fun. |
