All the family can enjoy Four Fun Fridays!

To celebrate the annual Four Fun Fridays event in Andover, the Chantry Centre will be hosting some very special craft activities for families to enjoy this summer.

Taking place every Friday in August, families can take part in a series of FREE craft sessions to help create some beautiful displays as well as individual pieces to take home.

There will be five craft sessions each Friday, taking place at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, lasting for approximately 40 minutes. To ensure COVID-19 compliance, we will be limiting the number of families taking part in each session and spaces must be booked in advance.

7 August, Week 1: The theme is ‘Summer in the Garden’, where children can help to create a giant butterfly and make flowers and bugs to take home.

14 August, Week 2: The theme is ‘Fairy tale fun’, and children can add to a fabulous fantasy college and make unicorns, fairies and ogres to take home.

21 August, Week 3: The theme is ‘By the seaside’, which will invite children to help make a big seahorse and create fish, lighthouses, mermaids and sea creatures of their own.

28 August, Week 4: The theme is ‘A day in the countryside’, where children can add to a countryside collage and make badgers, squirrels, birds and rabbits to take away with them.

How to Book:

We are asking people to book as a family unit or an established COVID bubble to enable us to maintain safe distancing in each session. Each family group will be allocated their own table, chairs and materials for the duration of the workshop. Hand sanitisers will be available and there are toilet facilities nearby. Please remember to bring face coverings to wear during the craft sessions.

If you would like to book a session, please call The Lights Theatre box office on: 01264 368368 (telephone only Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays from 10am – 2pm.

We are sorry that we will be unable to allow anyone without a booking to take part in these events.
