Santa's Post Office
Step into the magical post office and meet Santa’s elves. Write or draw a letter to Santa and post in the special post box to send it on its way to Lapland.
Opening on Friday 21 November, to coincide with the town centre's Christmas Festival and lights switch on, Santa's Post Office will be located next to Unity Arts, near the garden and the toy shop.
Free to attend, no booking needed – just drop in! All ages welcome. All children must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.
Sundays 10am to 11am
Quiet sessions with reduced sound and lighting and fewer people to provide a calmer environment for children who prefer it.
Open from 21 November to 21 December, Saturdays and Sundays 10am to 3pm and Monday 22 December, 10am to 3pm.
Young Traders Market
A perfect occasion to find unique gifts, decorations, stocking fillers and treats while supporting young entrepreneurs! Following the success of the Young Traders market in June, we are excited to see the creativity of local young traders at this special Christmas market.
Pop-up Indoor Market
The Chantry Centre's indoor pop-up market takes place on the first Saturday of each month. Stop by to shop with local independent businesses. You can find the stalls in the central areas near Holland & Barrett and Waterstones.
